I purchased a heating and air conditioning system from Piedmont Metro in 2001 for my house in Cary, NC. The system has functioned well with no major problems. I recently encountered some problems with the condensation drain line and contacted Robert Truelove with Piedmont Metro about it. He was very cooperative and immediately had someone come to the house to check the problem. They agreed to fix the problem at no cost. Piedmont had someone there the next day and installed a new pump and drain to handle the air conditioner condensation.

Not only this time, but anytime I’ve dealt with Piedmont Metro, they have been very professional and extremely cooperative. I would highly recommend them for all your heating and air conditioning work.

My name is C. K. and I have been a customer of Piedmont Metro for only 5 months. During this time, I have received amazing, friendly, and very timely customer service. In July, my whole unit went out, and I was not even in this state when it happened. I called Piedmont Metro the night before I left to Texas for a wedding. They came the very next day to fix my whole unit which needed replacing. My ex-husband was in the house to help with access to the thermostat.All the complete business dealing were done over cell phone and fax machine at the Marriott. Robert Truelove handled all of this correspondence personally, including faxing me various pictures of the units, so that I could see how they would fit under my crawl space. At NO TIME was I pressured to get one of the more expensive units, but chose to do that for spacing arrangements AND the tax break. These guys were such gentlemen, that we even negotiated the best/easiest financing options via phone/fax machine as well.

I can only tell you of my personal experience with this company as being a pleasure to do business with. My equipment is brand new, my service calls have been “light the pilot” and “re-set my thermostat”. The men were at the door the same day the calls were made.

I highly recommend the team at Piedmont Metro. In the coldest part of the winter of 2009, my mother-in-law’s heating system failed. After getting bids from other heating contractors, I called Piedmont Metro and they gave me a price that beat the others. My mother-in-law’s house was built in 1953, so after further inspection we agreed that the duct work needed replacement and the electrical wiring needed to be upgraded to accommodate the new system. They bought in the people to quickly get all of the work done, all of them were courteous and professional. They did such good work that when one of the heating systems in my home failed during the winter of 2010 I called Piedmont Metro, again after getting other estimates. And again, they gave me a better price and again they did excellent work with the installation. I hope I do not need to replace a HVAC system any time soon but if I do, I will be calling Piedmont Metro.

We were very impressed with the work from the Piedmont Service Company. In the summer they were able to install a new air conditioning system for us in one day. They also provided two free service checks with the installation.

In December of 2010, two days before Christmas, we woke up one morning to hear a strange noise coming from our furnace in the attic. We called Piedmont right away and they came out within two hours to assess the furnace. After determining that it was a fire hazard, Piedmont was able to come out that afternoon to remove the old furnace and install a new one. They were especially flexible and helpful as we had planned to leave for vacation that morning. Because of their hard work we only had to delay our trip – not cancel it!
